Is this表示询问所以be动词在前例如This is my book.【这是我的书】疑问为Is this your book?【这是你的书吗】,因为这句话中的‘is’表单数,所以‘book’是单数.相同的‘are’是表复数,当然在第二人称‘you’的时候也用‘are’.如Who are you?值得一提的是,询问对方名字的时候是‘what is your name’用的是‘is’
that指‘那个’is that与is this用法差不多.
thoes是‘那些’,因为‘那些’表示复数所以要用be动词are
例句
she is my sister.
these are oranges【orange加‘s’表示复数,多数名词有复数通常加-s,es,ies,ves等,根据首字母音标变化加复数.也有‘不可数’,是不加s的,不可数名词都是单数,如hair等

Is this …?为This is …的疑问句式，如：This is my book.变为疑问句就是Is this your book ?句号改为？还需注意人称的变化。其他几个也一样，但是没有Is those …?这种说法，只能是Are those …?
