the greatest lesson i have learnt英语作文
Last Saturday,I took part in an interview in which I applied
for the assistant of New Oriental school.During the process of the interview,I
learned a lot of things that can be useful in my future job hunting.Although I failed in the interview
because of many problems,what I have learnt from the interview is more
precious.
The first
point is before take part in the interview,dress yourself up in a proper
way.I was a negative
precedent.Since that day was
really hot,I wore shorts of bright yellow,while other girls wore skirts or
trousers.After the interview,the
interviewer warned me that to be an assistant teacher should not dress like
that.I felt very embarrassed and
regret,therefore I decide that in the future,I will never dress like
that.
The second
point is that you can praise yourself,but don’t emphasize to much about your
school or your parents,especially don’t talk too much about how great your
school is,how excellent your teachers are,and how much money and power your
parents own.A girl from ICB in our
school talked a lot about her teachers,she told those nonsense about all her
teachers come from England or the US blablabla.On the contrary,she said almost nothing
about herself!After her
introduction,the interviewer said that he could see nothing valuable and
special in her CV,all she said was useless for her applying for this job.I could not agree more,and I felt
fortunate that at least what I had said,regardless what I had worn,was normal
and not too bad……
The third point is you can be proud,but you cannot be arrogant
because that will makes you look very ignorant and boring.A boy talked how great his school is,
and how excellent himself is,all he said made us feel uncomfortable.Thankfully,he must be failed because
interviewers seem very impatient to him,moreover,soon we learnt that one of
the interviewers is a student of Beijing University and although he was one or
two years older than us,he has become an SAT teacher in New Oriental!How can you show yourself too much in
front of a man who is much more successful than you?
It is really a pity that I failed,but I do not regret for that
because I have learnt how to be successful next time!
