NBA was established in June 6,1946.Called upon the establishment of BAA,which the United States Basketball Association (Basketball Association of America),by the 11 ice hockey stadium and museum bosses to allow ice hockey game outside the stadium in time,not idle and co-sponsored the establishment.
BAA set up a total of 11 teams:New York Knicks,Boston,Washington,Washington Capitols,the Chicago Committee with the deer team,the Cleveland traitor team,the Detroit Falcon team,the Philadelphia samurai team,the Pittsburgh iron man teams,Providence Providence Steam Team,St.Louis and Toronto bombers team Eskimos team.1949 BAA at the time of the annexation of another Union (NBL),and renamed the NBA.1949-50 season,NBA a total of 17 teams.1976 NBA annexation of the American Basketball Association (ABA),increased to 22 teams.1980 Dallas Mavericks to join NBA.1988,New Orleans Hornets and Miami Heat join the NBA.1990 Orlando and Minnesota join the NBA.1995 two Canadian teams to join NBA,Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies,the NBA team to reach 29.In 2004 to join the Bobcats to 30.
