为什么选C,正在发生的状态是不是用现在进行时
2、They ______ two free tickets to Canada,otherwise they'dnever have been able to afford to go.

为什么选C,而不是A,不是用一般现在时表示将来推测的么?这个与If it rains tomorrow有什么差异?

1.keep的主语是the number,故谓语用单数.
2.此题考查虚拟语气中的真实情况,意思是他们弄到两张去加拿大的票,否则（如果没弄到票的话）他们是永远没有能力去.they'dnever have been 这里是对过去的虚拟.而弄到票是过去的真实情况.
3.因为主句是told,所以后面用过去将来,而从句中用过去式表过去将来.If it rains tomorrow这里rains表一般将来.如I will not go with you if ti rains tomoorrow.
4.D中应是didn't吧,后面用was trying表示我正在驱赶老鼠.
1不是现在进行时 是句型keep + doing 翻译成一直做...保持...的状态
1 看主语 是数字 2 过去式 而且已经发生了 但是后面的没有发生 3发生在过去对将来的推测 和合主句时态保持一致 4排除法 从第二个空排除 一定是D 过去正在发生的事
