貌似这里两种表达都是被动吧.....
have been dead for 这种表达是对的吧,die也是瞬时动词啊,可dead一样用嘛

的确用完成时是绝对没错的 所以having been separated是可以的
但是也同样可以though they were separated
只是they were一般可以省去
这里面的时代是过去式 发生在recognize之后
