I am most touched by the scene when the father and son has left the Empire State Building while Annie is standing alone on the roof of the building, and I only get relieved when the lovers meet each other again at the end of the story. This is what we meant by fate, which is irrespective of separations and previous misunderstandings.
There are too many coincidences in this film. Perhaps the lovers were brought together because of Sam's son, but at the end of the day, these factors became irrelevant and unimportant. This is a refreshing love story. I'm sure many people would like it.
